無機顏料表面處理機理與作用

對無機顏(yan)料進行表面處(chu)理(li),可(ke)以進一步提高顏(yan)料的(de)(de)應用性能和使用效果,充(chong)分體現其光學性質(zhi)和顏(yan)料性能,是提升(sheng)顏(yan)料質(zhi)量檔次的(de)(de)主要措施之一。
1 表面處理(li)的作用(yong)
對無(wu)機顏(yan)(yan)料(liao)(liao)進行表面處理的(de)作用可概(gai)括為(wei)三(san)個方面:①提(ti)高顏(yan)(yan)料(liao)(liao)本身的(de)特性(xing),如著色力、遮蓋力等;②提(ti)高使用性(xing)能(neng),增強顏(yan)(yan)料(liao)(liao)在溶劑和(he)樹脂(zhi)中的(de)分(fen)散(san)(san)性(xing)和(he)分(fen)散(san)(san)穩(wen)定性(xing);③提(ti)高顏(yan)(yan)料(liao)(liao)制成(cheng)品(pin)的(de)耐(nai)久性(xing)、化學穩(wen)定性(xing)和(he)加工性(xing)能(neng)。
顏料的(de)表面處理可以(yi)通過無機包膜和添加有機表面活(huo)性(xing)劑(ji)來實現其目的(de),例如:

2 表面處理的作用機理
無(wu)機顏料的(de)(de)基本光學性能(neng)和顏料性能(neng),主要由以(yi)下三方面(mian)(mian)來(lai)確定:①顏料與(yu)分散(san)介質之間的(de)(de)折光率之差;②被(bei)固體(ti)吸收(shou)的(de)(de)光(包括(kuo)固體(ti)中(zhong)的(de)(de)雜質);③粒(li)(li)徑(jing)及(ji)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)分布。其(qi)中(zhong)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)及(ji)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)分布可(ke)以(yi)通過表面(mian)(mian)處(chu)理來(lai)改善。
在(zai)(zai)顏(yan)料生(sheng)產過程(cheng)中(zhong),無論(lun)被研磨多細的顏(yan)料粉末,總會含有一(yi)些聚集和絮(xu)凝粒(li)子。顏(yan)料在(zai)(zai)運輸(shu)、儲存過程(cheng)中(zhong),由于擠壓(ya)、受潮(chao)會進一(yi)步(bu)絮(xu)凝成大(da)顆粒(li),而且顏(yan)料越細、表面積越大(da)、表面能更高,更容(rong)易絮(xu)凝在(zai)(zai)一(yi)起。如果通過適當的表面活性劑處(chu)理后,這些絮(xu)凝的大(da)顆粒(li),在(zai)(zai)使用時(shi)就很容(rong)易被分(fen)(fen)散開來,其分(fen)(fen)散機理主要如下:
2.1 潤 濕
無機顏料(liao)(liao)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)體(ti)(ti)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散主要經過(guo)以下(xia)三個階段:①粉(fen)末(mo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)不僅要濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤粉(fen)末(mo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian),還要把粉(fen)末(mo)粒子間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空氣(qi)和(he)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)置(zhi)換出來(lai)(lai);②通過(guo)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)粉(fen)末(mo)并置(zhi)換出粒子間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空氣(qi)和(he)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)后(hou),顏料(liao)(liao)粉(fen)末(mo)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)絮(xu)凝體(ti)(ti)和(he)聚集體(ti)(ti)被(bei)(bei)破壞;③被(bei)(bei)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤和(he)被(bei)(bei)破壞的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)絮(xu)凝體(ti)(ti)和(he)聚集體(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)體(ti)(ti)中(zhong)(zhong)保(bao)持穩(wen)定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散狀態。也就是(shi)說分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散是(shi)潤濕(shi)(shi)(shi)—分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散—保(bao)持分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散體(ti)(ti)穩(wen)定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)過(guo)程。一(yi)般情況下(xia),無機顏料(liao)(liao)在使用前(qian)是(shi)很少進(jin)行烘干處(chu)理(li)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),顏料(liao)(liao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)除(chu)了夾雜著(zhu)空氣(qi),還吸附(fu)(fu)一(yi)層(ceng)水(shui)膜(mo)。顏料(liao)(liao)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)通常(chang)所(suo)吸附(fu)(fu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang),相當于固體(ti)(ti)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)上(shang)所(suo)形成單(dan)(dan)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子膜(mo)所(suo)需要的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang)。例如每克 TiO2 表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)積為 10m 2 ,水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子吸附(fu)(fu)層(ceng)厚度為 10 × 10 -10 m ,單(dan)(dan)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子膜(mo)所(suo)需要的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang)約為顏料(liao)(liao)重量(liang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de) 0.3% ,所(suo)以顏料(liao)(liao)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)含(han)量(liang)也是(shi)影(ying)響其(qi)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散性(xing)能的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)主要因素之一(yi)。固體(ti)(ti)被(bei)(bei)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)好壞,可根據其(qi)接觸角來(lai)(lai)判斷,接觸角為 0 °表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)示完全濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)完全展布在固體(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian);接觸角為 180 °表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)示完全不濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)呈水(shui)珠(zhu)狀附(fu)(fu)著(zhu)在固體(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)。
固(gu)體(ti)能否在液體(ti)中(zhong)良(liang)好濕(shi)潤(run),除了(le)用(yong)接觸角大(da)小來判斷外,還可測(ce)定其濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)的(de)大(da)小來判斷,一(yi)般親水性(xing)(xing)粉(fen)(fen)末(mo)(如 TiO 2 )在極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)大(da),在非極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)小,而(er)疏水性(xing)(xing)粉(fen)(fen)末(mo)在極(ji)性(xing)(xing)和非極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)的(de)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)大(da)致上(shang)是(shi)一(yi)定的(de)。
固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)(ye)體(ti)(ti)(ti)中(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)沉降(jiang)速度和沉降(jiang)容積的(de)(de)(de)(de)大小也可判斷(duan)其濕潤程度的(de)(de)(de)(de)好(hao)壞(huai)(見(jian)表(biao)(biao)(biao) 1 ),像 TiO 2 這(zhe)種極性(xing)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)在極性(xing)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)溶液(ye)(ye)中(zhong)沉降(jiang)容積小,在極性(xing)小的(de)(de)(de)(de)溶液(ye)(ye)中(zhong)則(ze)大;而非極性(xing)固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)一般(ban)沉降(jiang)容積都大。通過加入表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)活性(xing)劑(ji)處理后,由于表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)活性(xing)劑(ji)分子有力地定向吸附在固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian),有助于降(jiang)低液(ye)(ye)體(ti)(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)張力,提高其濕潤和分散(san)性(xing)能。
2.2 電斥力(li)(ξ電位)
無機顏料在(zai)水溶液中的(de)分(fen)散(san)和(he)分(fen)散(san)穩定性,主(zhu)要依賴(lai)其在(zai)水中的(de)電斥(chi)力(li)即ξ電位的(de)大小(xiao)來決(jue)定。
電(dian)斥(chi)力(li)就(jiu)是利用電(dian)荷的排斥(chi)來保(bao)持分散(san)穩定性。
表面(mian)活(huo)性(xing)劑能在水溶液中電(dian)(dian)(dian)離(li)出大量帶負電(dian)(dian)(dian)(或正電(dian)(dian)(dian))的(de)(de)離(li)子(zi),牢固地(di)吸(xi)附在顏(yan)料粒(li)子(zi)的(de)(de)表面(mian),使這些(xie)粒(li)子(zi)帶有(you)相(xiang)同電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he),其它帶相(xiang)反(fan)電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)的(de)(de)離(li)子(zi)則(ze)自(zi)由擴散(san)到液體介質的(de)(de)周(zhou)圍,形成一個帶電(dian)(dian)(dian)離(li)子(zi)的(de)(de)擴散(san)層(雙電(dian)(dian)(dian)層)。自(zi)固體表面(mian)至擴散(san)層遠處(即(ji)(ji)帶相(xiang)反(fan)電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)為(wei) 0 的(de)(de)地(di)方)的(de)(de)兩層離(li)子(zi)間的(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)位差稱(cheng)為(wei)ξ電(dian)(dian)(dian)位。粒(li)子(zi)間的(de)(de)靜(jing)電(dian)(dian)(dian)斥(chi)力就(jiu)是(shi)由此而來,這些(xie)帶相(xiang)同電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)的(de)(de)粒(li)子(zi)一經接(jie)觸就(jiu)相(xiang)互排斥(chi),從而保持分散(san)體系(xi)的(de)(de)穩定,即(ji)(ji)著名的(de)(de) D.L.V.O. 理論。
當顏料分(fen)(fen)散在(zai)(zai)非水介質中時,便大(da)(da)大(da)(da)排(pai)除了上(shang)述(shu)離子反應(ying)的可能性(xing),非離子表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑在(zai)(zai)水中不電離,在(zai)(zai)這(zhe)種情況(kuang)下,表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑的作用稱之為空間位阻效(xiao)應(ying)或熵效(xiao)應(ying)。因為表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑能夠定(ding)(ding)(ding)向地吸附在(zai)(zai)顏料粒子的表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian),形成(cheng)一(yi)種單分(fen)(fen)子吸附層(ceng)(ceng),這(zhe)種定(ding)(ding)(ding)向緩沖層(ceng)(ceng)能防止粒子間的相聚,從而保(bao)(bao)持分(fen)(fen)散體系的穩定(ding)(ding)(ding)(又稱保(bao)(bao)護膠體或膠束)。
顏料(liao)表面的(de)表面活性(xing)劑分子(zi)群,隨著表面活性(xing)劑濃度的(de)提(ti)高,其熵(shang)會(hui)降低,運動將受到限制(zhi),顏料(liao)粒子(zi)越靠近、越壓縮,其熵(shang)會(hui)進一步降低,從而有(you)利分散(san)體系的(de)穩定。

2 表面處理的作用機理
無(wu)機顏料的(de)(de)基本光學性能(neng)和顏料性能(neng),主要由以(yi)下三方面(mian)(mian)來(lai)確定:①顏料與(yu)分散(san)介質之間的(de)(de)折光率之差;②被(bei)固體(ti)吸收(shou)的(de)(de)光(包括(kuo)固體(ti)中(zhong)的(de)(de)雜質);③粒(li)(li)徑(jing)及(ji)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)分布。其(qi)中(zhong)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)及(ji)粒(li)(li)徑(jing)分布可(ke)以(yi)通過表面(mian)(mian)處(chu)理來(lai)改善。
在(zai)(zai)顏(yan)料生(sheng)產過程(cheng)中(zhong),無論(lun)被研磨多細的顏(yan)料粉末,總會含有一(yi)些聚集和絮(xu)凝粒(li)子。顏(yan)料在(zai)(zai)運輸(shu)、儲存過程(cheng)中(zhong),由于擠壓(ya)、受潮(chao)會進一(yi)步(bu)絮(xu)凝成大(da)顆粒(li),而且顏(yan)料越細、表面積越大(da)、表面能更高,更容(rong)易絮(xu)凝在(zai)(zai)一(yi)起。如果通過適當的表面活性劑處(chu)理后,這些絮(xu)凝的大(da)顆粒(li),在(zai)(zai)使用時(shi)就很容(rong)易被分(fen)(fen)散開來,其分(fen)(fen)散機理主要如下:
2.1 潤 濕
無機顏料(liao)(liao)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)體(ti)(ti)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散主要經過(guo)以下(xia)三個階段:①粉(fen)末(mo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)不僅要濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤粉(fen)末(mo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian),還要把粉(fen)末(mo)粒子間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空氣(qi)和(he)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)置(zhi)換出來(lai)(lai);②通過(guo)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)粉(fen)末(mo)并置(zhi)換出粒子間的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)空氣(qi)和(he)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)后(hou),顏料(liao)(liao)粉(fen)末(mo)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)絮(xu)凝體(ti)(ti)和(he)聚集體(ti)(ti)被(bei)(bei)破壞;③被(bei)(bei)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤和(he)被(bei)(bei)破壞的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)絮(xu)凝體(ti)(ti)和(he)聚集體(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)體(ti)(ti)中(zhong)(zhong)保(bao)持穩(wen)定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散狀態。也就是(shi)說分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散是(shi)潤濕(shi)(shi)(shi)—分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散—保(bao)持分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散體(ti)(ti)穩(wen)定的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)過(guo)程。一(yi)般情況下(xia),無機顏料(liao)(liao)在使用前(qian)是(shi)很少進(jin)行烘干處(chu)理(li)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de),顏料(liao)(liao)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)除(chu)了夾雜著(zhu)空氣(qi),還吸附(fu)(fu)一(yi)層(ceng)水(shui)膜(mo)。顏料(liao)(liao)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)通常(chang)所(suo)吸附(fu)(fu)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang),相當于固體(ti)(ti)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)上(shang)所(suo)形成單(dan)(dan)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子膜(mo)所(suo)需要的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang)。例如每克 TiO2 表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)積為 10m 2 ,水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子吸附(fu)(fu)層(ceng)厚度為 10 × 10 -10 m ,單(dan)(dan)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)子膜(mo)所(suo)需要的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)量(liang)約為顏料(liao)(liao)重量(liang)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de) 0.3% ,所(suo)以顏料(liao)(liao)中(zhong)(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)水(shui)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)含(han)量(liang)也是(shi)影(ying)響其(qi)分(fen)(fen)(fen)(fen)散性(xing)能的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)主要因素之一(yi)。固體(ti)(ti)被(bei)(bei)濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)好壞,可根據其(qi)接觸角來(lai)(lai)判斷,接觸角為 0 °表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)示完全濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)完全展布在固體(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian);接觸角為 180 °表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)示完全不濕(shi)(shi)(shi)潤,液(ye)體(ti)(ti)呈水(shui)珠(zhu)狀附(fu)(fu)著(zhu)在固體(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)。
固(gu)體(ti)能否在液體(ti)中(zhong)良(liang)好濕(shi)潤(run),除了(le)用(yong)接觸角大(da)小來判斷外,還可測(ce)定其濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)的(de)大(da)小來判斷,一(yi)般親水性(xing)(xing)粉(fen)(fen)末(mo)(如 TiO 2 )在極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)大(da),在非極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)小,而(er)疏水性(xing)(xing)粉(fen)(fen)末(mo)在極(ji)性(xing)(xing)和非極(ji)性(xing)(xing)液體(ti)中(zhong)的(de)濕(shi)潤(run)熱(re)(re)大(da)致上(shang)是(shi)一(yi)定的(de)。
固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)在液(ye)(ye)體(ti)(ti)(ti)中(zhong)的(de)(de)(de)(de)沉降(jiang)速度和沉降(jiang)容積的(de)(de)(de)(de)大小也可判斷(duan)其濕潤程度的(de)(de)(de)(de)好(hao)壞(huai)(見(jian)表(biao)(biao)(biao) 1 ),像 TiO 2 這(zhe)種極性(xing)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)在極性(xing)大的(de)(de)(de)(de)溶液(ye)(ye)中(zhong)沉降(jiang)容積小,在極性(xing)小的(de)(de)(de)(de)溶液(ye)(ye)中(zhong)則(ze)大;而非極性(xing)固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)粉(fen)末(mo)一般(ban)沉降(jiang)容積都大。通過加入表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)活性(xing)劑(ji)處理后,由于表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)活性(xing)劑(ji)分子有力地定向吸附在固(gu)體(ti)(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian),有助于降(jiang)低液(ye)(ye)體(ti)(ti)(ti)的(de)(de)(de)(de)表(biao)(biao)(biao)面(mian)張力,提高其濕潤和分散(san)性(xing)能。
2.2 電斥力(li)(ξ電位)
無機顏料在(zai)水溶液中的(de)分(fen)散(san)和(he)分(fen)散(san)穩定性,主(zhu)要依賴(lai)其在(zai)水中的(de)電斥(chi)力(li)即ξ電位的(de)大小(xiao)來決(jue)定。
電(dian)斥(chi)力(li)就(jiu)是利用電(dian)荷的排斥(chi)來保(bao)持分散(san)穩定性。
表面(mian)活(huo)性(xing)劑能在水溶液中電(dian)(dian)(dian)離(li)出大量帶負電(dian)(dian)(dian)(或正電(dian)(dian)(dian))的(de)(de)離(li)子(zi),牢固地(di)吸(xi)附在顏(yan)料粒(li)子(zi)的(de)(de)表面(mian),使這些(xie)粒(li)子(zi)帶有(you)相(xiang)同電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he),其它帶相(xiang)反(fan)電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)的(de)(de)離(li)子(zi)則(ze)自(zi)由擴散(san)到液體介質的(de)(de)周(zhou)圍,形成一個帶電(dian)(dian)(dian)離(li)子(zi)的(de)(de)擴散(san)層(雙電(dian)(dian)(dian)層)。自(zi)固體表面(mian)至擴散(san)層遠處(即(ji)(ji)帶相(xiang)反(fan)電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)為(wei) 0 的(de)(de)地(di)方)的(de)(de)兩層離(li)子(zi)間的(de)(de)電(dian)(dian)(dian)位差稱(cheng)為(wei)ξ電(dian)(dian)(dian)位。粒(li)子(zi)間的(de)(de)靜(jing)電(dian)(dian)(dian)斥(chi)力就(jiu)是(shi)由此而來,這些(xie)帶相(xiang)同電(dian)(dian)(dian)荷(he)(he)的(de)(de)粒(li)子(zi)一經接(jie)觸就(jiu)相(xiang)互排斥(chi),從而保持分散(san)體系(xi)的(de)(de)穩定,即(ji)(ji)著名的(de)(de) D.L.V.O. 理論。
在電(dian)斥(chi)力(li)的(de)(de)情況下,表面活性劑(ji)必須具(ju)有高(gao)的(de)(de)電(dian)離(li)(li)性能,通常(chang)使用的(de)(de)是陰離(li)(li)子(zi)表面活性劑(ji)及一些無機電(dian)介質,如:多磷(lin)酸(suan)三鉀、焦磷(lin)酸(suan)鉀、多磷(lin)酸(suan)鈉、烷基(ji)芳基(ji)磺酸(suan)鈉、次亞甲基(ji)萘(nai)磺酸(suan)鈉、聚羧酸(suan)鈉等。

當顏料分(fen)(fen)散在(zai)(zai)非水介質中時,便大(da)(da)大(da)(da)排(pai)除了上(shang)述(shu)離子反應(ying)的可能性(xing),非離子表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑在(zai)(zai)水中不電離,在(zai)(zai)這(zhe)種情況(kuang)下,表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑的作用稱之為空間位阻效(xiao)應(ying)或熵效(xiao)應(ying)。因為表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian)活性(xing)劑能夠定(ding)(ding)(ding)向地吸附在(zai)(zai)顏料粒子的表(biao)(biao)面(mian)(mian),形成(cheng)一(yi)種單分(fen)(fen)子吸附層(ceng)(ceng),這(zhe)種定(ding)(ding)(ding)向緩沖層(ceng)(ceng)能防止粒子間的相聚,從而保(bao)(bao)持分(fen)(fen)散體系的穩定(ding)(ding)(ding)(又稱保(bao)(bao)護膠體或膠束)。
顏料(liao)表面的(de)表面活性(xing)劑分子(zi)群,隨著表面活性(xing)劑濃度的(de)提(ti)高,其熵(shang)會(hui)降低,運動將受到限制(zhi),顏料(liao)粒子(zi)越靠近、越壓縮,其熵(shang)會(hui)進一步降低,從而有(you)利分散(san)體系的(de)穩定。
